What is the name of your state (only U.S.
I work in NY State-Caught my co-worker saying horrible
untrue things about me to the manager. They could not
deny it. Basically, she made up these things so that she \could \
get me thrown out and take my job and make more money.

We do not talk anymore. However, should i have an attorney write
her a letter notify her of the severity of the situation. That if I would
have lost my job she would be responsible .. And also notify her never
to try this again... It is illegal. This way she will never try this **** again
on me. What do you think?

I suppose you could see an attorney for a threatening letter. Normally, in slander cases, you have to prove loss to get damages. So, if you lost your job, you would have a claim.

I think that she did not succeed in her objective, it is pointless to send anything and will only make you look bad.
