cruise ship liability

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas A friend put the cruise ship deposit on her credit card I didnt want to go.Now her travel agency says i owe 400.oo I didnt sign anything and told her immediatly i didnt want to go.Am i liable to pay the travel agent.

Based only on what you wrote, you should not be liable.

Based on the parts of the story you left out... Who knows.
