What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

I have an older brother who went through my belongings that were locked away and found provocative pictures that I had taken for my boyfriend. If that isn't bad enough he's so angry about it he refuses to give them back and threatens to put them on the internet as ways to manipulate me. I really don't know how to handle this and was wondering if there's anything I can do legally?? Please help...
