my wife was physically pushed out of a business

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? State of Iowa... While having a differing of opinions with a business owner, the business owner(male) snapped, grabbed my wife, and physically pushed her out of his business. How long do I have to get the police involved and what are my options?

Why didn't she call the police right then and there? If you wife was not physically hurt, then it would probably be a waste of valuable resources to file a police report days later. Remeber, the business owner would also have the opportunity to file one against your wife.

I suspect the business owner will claim he was using reasonable force to eject a trespasser.
