What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
In michigan . I was never served with a no contact order. today i am being summoned to answer to why I violated this order. I am facing contempt.
Now. Can I sue the plaitiff for false accusation?

So someone had an RO against you, and you were never served?

And you unwittingly contacted the person?

What's the false accusation all about?

for charging me with violation of a no contact order that was never served

Then it's not a false accusation....you DID violate the NCO, even though you didn't know about it. The difference is you didn't knowingly violate it.

What you need to do is turn up in court, explain that you were never served and request proof of service.

There is no defamation here either way.
