What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA
Hi, thanks for taking the time to answer.
I will try and keep it simple.
Can a website publicly post that my company owes them money.
There is a website that states I owe them money for business to business transactions.
Can anyone posts this sort of information.
There is no current lawsuit or anything.

2nd part- The same company posting this actually owes me money.
Can I do the same and state on a website, press release, blog whatever that this company owes me money?

Thanks so much for your time.:)

Since you're posting on a forum that deals with libel, my reponse will relate to libel: the best defense against any libel action is to be able to prove that what you're writing is true (a required element for something to be considered libel is that it must be false).
