What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Alaska

What rules surround the government posting of information?

I sent a letter to a municipality asking for help with an issue. That organization posted my letter. Now, that letter, which describes mechanical issues with my house, means I can never sell my house, because everyone sees my letter.
I never gave them permission to post my letter.

So, the assumption is that the "mechanical" issues with your house prevent you from selling it. Who told you that?

Sometimes, submissions, while may not grant ownership of the copyright to the work, may grant a license to use the work. Not sure if that means anything in your situation.

Out of curiosity, what did the agency say when you contacted them regarding this issue?
