Slander

I had the horrible experience of being accused of being someone else (that I had lied about who I was) Why? A woman I did not know said that I was really Jane Doe and that I was lying about my identity! And my boss and co-workers believed her (a customer). A co-worker confided in me later and all the funny behaviours began to make sense---my boss asking to see my ID, wanting to photo copy it, giving me funny stares, asking if I went by any other names----

Another time I had burned incense(the night before) and a co-worker said that I was a drug person because she smelled the drugs on me----I told her I would charge her with slander and she stopped her rumours.

It is just hateful how people just make up stuff about others and it is disturbing how quickly others are ready to believe the lies

Having Asperger's Syndrome, I am often confused by the behaviour of people.

You do not need to have Asperger's to be confused by the behavior of people.

Did you have a legal question?
