Ex spouse and life insuranceWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California My court order states that I may obtain life insurance on my ex husband. How can I get one without him having to sign anything? Will the court order suffice as his signature? |

| I don't know of any life company that will issue a policy with your ex as the insured without the ex's approval - and a physical. If that is the actual wording of the decree, it is very strange.
