I hurt my shoulder on the job. My worker compensation benefits were canceled after 180 days. Shortly thereafter, my physician determined I needed to have surgery to correct the injury. Workers Comp. refuses to pay, AND MY HEALTH INSURANCE refuses, saying worker comp. will have to pay, since the injury occured on the job. My lawyer is presently trying to get workers comp. re-instated.
Can my health insurance provider be sued for breach of contract for their refusal to pay?
