Suspicious deathWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? KY A friend of our family was recently killed in an "accident". As time goes on, more and more details of the "accident" look very suspicious. If the victim's wife is eventually found guilty of participating in a scheme to kill the victim, would the victim's children still receive the benefits of his life insurance policy? | It depends greatly on the policy. If the children are under 18, were not complicit in the death, and named as benificiries of the policy, then yes it is possible, but you'll have a huge fight on your hands. However, if the spouse of the deceased was convicted for murder then the policy will likely not pay out. |
