401 K Division Time Limit

YOUR STATE NAME - Iowa - I live in Iowa & back in march 2001 my X wife was awarded half of my 401k value as it stood on that day. now over a year latter no QDRO has been filed by her lawyer as the court ordered him to do. I have asked her to tell him to get it done and she says ok but nothing happens. What can I do to expediate this and is there a time limit in which they have to get it done in? I wonder if they are dragging it out in a hope she will be able to get more since I have continued to put more money into it and it gets more complicated to divide it because of that the longer it goes. Thank you for any advise.
