In CT, how long can I continue to collect AFDC, until the child is 18 or until he graduates from high school, which he wont do until he is almost 19?

How long have you been on AFDC? Most states have now enacted a lifetime limit and work requirements. In Minnesota, you can receive AFDC until the child is the age of majority (18) or done with high school. I would call your state Human Services department and find out from them. Good luck!
