age of consent

What is the name of your state? ohio my friend's daughter is 14 years old and is now pregnant. her boyfriend/father of the baby is 21 years old. is this considered statutory rape and can the state press charges if the mother doesn't?

My response:

Well, isn't that wonderful - - a child having a child, and another child going on Welfare causing more burden to the Taxpayers.

Yes, it's Statutory Rape. The age of consent in Ohio is 16 (still too young in my opinion).

Report that rapist to the District Attorney's Office. Have him arrested.
