I wasn't entirely sure where this fits on the forum list so here goes...
My child will be turning 18 in October of her senior year. Is she still legally an adult or is she still under my care?

My response:

She will be a "legal" adult; i.e., emancipated by law. There is no law that says you must be responsible for her until she graduates. If she turns 18 prior to graduation, then that's the day you can show her the door.
