Question

age to move out in arkansas and texas

I am engaged to the man I love but I need to know if the legal age to move out of your parents house in arkansas and texas is 17 or 18. I have heard that in texas it is 17 and in arkansas it is 18. If in Texas this is true then I may be moving to Texas to live with my grandmother but if that is true are there any other things I need to know, like perhaps a specific amount of time you have to live in Texas before you turn 17 for this to apply to you.... or if I just switch to a Texas license will this automatically make me a legal adult in Texas when I turn 17? If this skips around too much then please contact me if you think you might be able to answer my question and I will explain the situation in full..... Thank you.

I live in texas, and dealt with this a few years ago with my oldest daughter you can move out of your parents home at age 17, but not legally until 18, so in other words you can move out at 17 but anyone who takes you in their home to live, your parents can have them arrested by the law for harboring a runaway...

they just changed the license law in texas you can not get a permenant licenses until your 18, you run off of a learners permit until then... where an adult has to be in the car with you while driving at all times... at a certain (16 now already having your permit)age your grandfathered but not sure if that would apply to you since your not a resident of texas now...

you have to type in the search words for arkansas...

I beg your pardon, I dont beleive I said anything about mine getting married...

and... It's my opinion those who "WATCH" JERRY SPRINGER are the TRASH..

and California has more Illigal Aliens then Texas will ever see in a day...

are you saying people in your state which ever that may be, dont get married until they are what 21 or so?? then why do you have age requirements/limits in "YOUR" state??

I dont think any state requires you to drop out of school or collage to get married...

and I dont think your raising anyone in Arkansas or Texas...

you sure have the "UNEDUCATED" part right...

Jerry Springer IS true to life......

If you ever lived in the south, BOY you know these people are trash.

The WWF is their HEROES! they act like Macho man or HulK Hogan, or anyone of their favorite WWF stars when they get drunk.

The wife abuse is terrible, the amount these folks spend on drinking and drugs far exceed what they spend on their kids

Yes their are tons of people like that in REAL LIFE!

So she is trash to want to leave home with a man at 16 17, **************

Oh what is gonna claim thet daddy is sexually abusing her so now she has to find an OLDER man to abuser her as well?

Come on this is stupid stupid stupid, and she should be chastised for this stupid behavior!

And yes most of my friends are 30 and older and never been married...so it is a VERY LOW CLASS cultural thing to be married before you graduate high school!
