am i legally his wife

detroit michigan. i have lived with a man for a year and have documentation of him stating that i am his wife. i have used his last name on several occassions and we were known as husband and wife by everyone and he has even stated on insurance papers that i am his wife. all correspondence between ourselves and others were written with him or i placing me as his wife and i also have mail coming to me with his last name. are we bound in any way?

Sahara, do you notice a common theme running through all of your posts ? You have no common sense. You keep letting other people stick it right up your bum.

Michigan is not a Common Law marriage State. You get nothing from him. I don't care how he referred to you and your relationship.

He's the "stick-ER" and you're always the "stick-EE".

Now, why is that, Sahara ? Doesn't it hurt after awhile ?
