I would like to know how old a child has to be to choose which parent they would like to live with? I would also like to know Does extended family members have any rights for visitation like aunt and grandparents? I live in texas.

Children are never old enough to "choose" which parent they want to live with. After a certain age, they are allowed to voice an opinion, but a judge will decide who has primary custody.

Sorry, extended relatives have no rights to visitation.
