Question

In Illinois:

Moving there from Missouri with new husband. He went ahead and put a contract on a home to buy without me being there. He did not include me as a co-purchaser. I want to be included as part owner of the home. What are my rights?

Married to Old Flake

No doubt! Are there any laws that will protect my interests as his wife? I think he's going to try to leave the home to his two adult children if anything happens to him before me. Surely there's a law to prevent that. Help!!!

Not really too many laws that would help you. If your State has a homestead law that may be of some help.
