can I do this?

Tennessee

I hope i'm in the correct forum, my delima**************..I have a sister with disabilities amoung them NF,drug addiction, epilepsy, she is 35 y/o she recently moved out of state to Maine, she is living with a man she met on a ph. chat line he is a registered sex offender and the list goes on,she makes really bad decisions and she is letting her health go she is the only one with income in the household...there is another roommate(male)at the address also, she pays the bills that get paid all she has is a disability check which is around 450.00 per month then the other day this man attempted suicide the state police were involved and told me to get her back to Tennessee ASAP ....so my question is this.

can I apply for guardianship of her if she is living in another state and will that alone get her back home,i'm completely lost, our mother is already care giver to our Dad who is very sick and another sister I need to do something fast,I booked a plane ticket for today which she refused after telling me to do it.

Thanks for input

You really must check with a probate lawyer in your area.

This is such a complicated and sensitive question that you ask, that no one can really give you a good answer on this forum.
