Question

can i limit my liability for actions of self destructive spose

What is the name of your state? Florida

i have a wife who is a type a over the top go getter who takes on way too much. she was recently diagnosed as having s seizure disorder and forbidden to drive for 3 months (seizure free) she went the 3 months - did what she was told and was seizure free and is now driving aain. the dr. said the seizures would only happen if she did not take care to get enough sleep and not get stressed out at work. she is not following the drs advice - she is taking on too much, taking reponsibility for everything, and not getting enough sleep.

is there anything i can do (since she does not take my advice) to distance myself from her actions -(i.e. if she were to get into a wreck and hurt / kill someone)? I can not affect her actions directly - she ignores me and will not go with me to see anyone to get help - i am to the point where i think all i can do is try to protect myself.

anything i can do?

Divorce or increase you insurance limits & speak to your provider about an umbrella policy.
