Ok, some how my questions got lost.
Let's try this again.

Briefly, my 15 yr old daughter has a 20 yr old boyfriend.
She has went from Honor Roll to failing grades and cutting school.
I also found out that last WE when she was suppose to be at a friends house She spent the night with him!!!!!
I called the police, they told me I,
1. There is No Such Law as Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
And 2. She has to be 14 or under to charge him with Stautory rape.

My questions......
1. Are these both true?!
2. Is there ANY law in my state that can help me to make this guy stay away from her.

I would like to put the fear of God in him, so the next time she calls him, he tells her to get lost cause she's too much trouble.

Not exactly.

Statutory rape, second degree, penalty.

566.034. 1. A person commits the crime of statutory rape in the second degree if being twenty-one years of age or older, he has sexual intercourse with another person who is less than seventeen years of age.
2. Statutory rape in the second degree is a class C felony.

Since this kids is only 20 technically he cannot be charged.

HOWEVER, nothing is stopping you from putting the fear of GOD into him

He can be charged with anything, but it won't fly because of his age. But nothing is stopping you from letting him know that the minute he turns 21 you'll be at the sheriff's office filing statutory rape charges against him and informing "BUBBA" at the prison of his impending arrival.

GET MY MEANING???

Amen. No way my parents would have allowed me to date a 20 year old when I was a 15 year old. And if I had pulled a lying stunt like that, I would not have been allowed to attend anything not verified by my parents. In other words, my folks would have spoken to the parents of any friend with whom I claimed to be going out or staying the night with.

And I would not have been allowed to parties, or to just hang out unsupervised for one really, really long time!!!!!!! How does "grounded for life" sound?

Just thought I'd update you all.

2 Big brothers paid weasel a visit at work. Only took a few slaps to the head to help him see the error of his ways. About 2 hours later he was calling my daughter telling her it was over. Time will tell.

Just a lil advice to parents of teenagers, you can never let your gaurd down. And no matter how trustworthy you think they are- THEY AREN"T! There is always going to be someome out there waiting to lead them away from you. During these young adult years they need protection from themselves as much as from others. I wish she was going through the terrrible 2's again rather then this.
My first incidencent with this child fortunately was over quickly, but it woke me up. Yes, the grounding and checking are all happening. Made her quit her job at local fast food restaurant and driving her to and from school. Also spoke with Principle and he is to call me immediately if she is not at school.

Good Luck to you all.

LOL! I love it! Good for you, but hopefully big brothers won't get in trouble for those "few slaps in the head."
