Car under ex's name but he wants me to pay!

What is the name of your state? Florida...Pro Se
In the Marital Settlement Agreement I agreed to maintain payments on the station wagon that was under my ex's name. I had no money or credit and needed a car. This decision was based on my income which included his child support payments of $500 before court order. During the divorce he became unemployed and the court ordered he pay only 206.98 per month in child support a loss of $300 in income and the exact amount of the car payment. I signed the Agreement with the provision that he would recalculate child support once he became employed which he did in less that 2 months. It has been almost 3 years and no new financial affidavit. I have just filed contempt to get him to comply. I have since defaulted on payments and he returned the car to the dealer in lieu of reposession. He has since won a judgment against me for the remaining $4000. I had no clue how to handle this. Do I stand a chance with a motion for relief of judgement? He's says he's going to file default against me.
