Changing name, now what?

What is the name of your state?Oregon

My wife and I are both changing our last names. We will get a certified court order or form to use for getting new IDs and passports, but what do we have to do about contracts signed previously? Will we have to re-sign them, or are they still valid? I have a trust fund, do I need to notify the trustee of my name change, and how?

You have to notify everyone. They will want court ordered documented proof of the name change.

It is not much different than when women get married and change their names.
