indiana law question!
a friend of mine is in a devorce battle both parents are trying to get even with each other. the mother has involved a probation officer. the officer has gotten in touch with the child protection. there are three minor children 12,15,17. they went to court the father had legal council mother had a public deffender. the judge would not let the father's attoney speak she asked if she could and he said no. the father could not speak either. but the probation officer could! she said that she felt that the children should be placed in the youth service beuro. what can he do about this? i don't feel like he was given the chance to speak on his children's behalf. does he have rights as their father? and how can he get them out of the system now that their in? they went to court on this a week ago!
The mother and the officer are pretty close( friends) and no lawyer will stand up to this judge! why?
Thanks for you help!
