i live in nj and i have 11 year old twins whose biological father hasn't seen in 7 1/2 years-however, the last time i received any support payments was feb of 97. he's got to be behind by at least 30-40 something thousand dollars. i've been on the phone with the courts/probation officer involved in my case, and i always get the same story they don't know where he is-he always gives false info to the courts, and i don't know anything about this man, because the last time i've seen him was in 96 to finalize our divorce.i would appreciate any help/advice you can offer, because i can sure use the money if i ever get it. is there really any way to catch someone who may be working off the books? please help if you can-thank you

My response:

It may be worth your while to hire a private investigator to locate him, and then give the location information to the Child Support Services. Then, they will get him and haul him back into court. I foresee jail time in his future.

My response:

Gee, I'm blushing ! Do you think Mrs. Liable would mind ? But, I'll be your buddy - - just like I am with 99.9% of all the good people that come to these Boards. You're a sweetheart for mentioning it.

Unfortunately, with my practice out here in California, I can truly say, I have never had any dealings with the State of New Jersey in any fashion. So, I can't recommend anyone to you. However, there are plenty of Private Investigators, I'm sure, who advertise in your Yellow Pages.

See which one strikes your fancy.

I wish you the best of fortune, and thanks again for your kind words.
