Children's Rights I have found out that after 32 years the Catholic hospital where I was born suppressed my fathers name on my birth certificate because my parents were not married. We had a souvenier birth certificate and a baptismal certificate that we used for school. My father abandoned us. I have now located him but he wants nothing to do with me. That's fine, but how do I get what I believe is my basic right to have both parents names on my certificate? He won't voluntarily sign my certifcate. We can't force DNA testing since I am an adult. How many others are similar victims. I have lost proof of my heritage, possible rights to any estate, medical history just to name a few. It seems that I have no rights since I am no longer a minor. I am very frustrated. Does anyone have any suggestions? I live in PA. |
