Civil Suit related to a criminal case.

What is the name of your state? Ohio. My spouse was convicted for embezzling money from a former employer. The monies taken are being paid back. I was never involved nor knew about the embezzling till charges were filed. Now the former employer is suing my spouse for his "expenses". If the employer wins the case against my spouse can my wages be garnished?

That really isn't a family law issue...you would probably get better advice by posting your question on one of the forums that deal with civil law issues. It would probably also be wise to get a consult with an attorney who deals with civil law/tort issues.

However I can tell you that any jointly owned assets could be at risk....and it would probably be smart not to have any joint bank accounts etc., with your spouse.
