Common Law Marriage

What is the name of your state?TEXAS
AM I COMMON LAW IF I WAS WITH MY EX- BOYFRIEND FOR TEN YRS AND WE HAVE TWO KIDS TOGETHER?AND IF SO IS THERE ANYTHING I HAVE TO DO IN ORDER TO MOVE ON SINCE WE ARE NO LONGER TOGETHER?COULD I GET CHILD SUPPORT?

DO NOT POST in all caps. It's rude and hard to read.

And if you had done a search on this site as is posted on EVERY page, you would have found the answer to this exact question was posted two days ago.

I suggest you do a search for texas common law and read it.

Child support does not depend on marital status or legal status of the marriage. IT ONLY depends on the parents and who has legal custody.
