Does the State of Colorado have common law marriages? If so under what specific conditions? Number of years living together?
My response:
Yes, but it has nothing to do with "years" of living together.
Colorado
A common-law marriage may be established by proving cohabitation and a reputation of being married.
Theoretically, and probably accurately, all you'd have to do is live together for one day, and introduce yourselves to your neighbor as being married to that couch potato on the sofa swilling that beer, and watching the football game.
Voila, you're considered married under Colorado law.
