I lived with someone from the year 1980 to the year 1987 in the state of Arizona. We never used each others last names. We never described at any time that we were married. We definitely wanted everyone to know that we were just two people living together. My husband in the state of Kansas has concern that I might possibly be practicing bigomy if living with this other male person is considered common law marriage in the state of Arizona. It is not in the state of Kansas.
