same question, different stateI'm from Ks and would also like the answer to this question. My Husband deserted me and children immed after my accident and came back just before settlement and left after it was spent. I was permanently disabled and disfigured and had to settle because I was desperate (H wouldn't help with bills, food, etc). Only got 30,000. His lawyer was asking all about what I bought etc. Is Husband legally (I know he's not morally)intitled to belongings bought with this money? I can't believe he would be since he never helped with the bills the whole time we were married. |

Found the answer, have new question.Looked on the Homepage. The answer is, the non-injured spouse is not entitled to the money. Another question though. Is Husbands attorney correct in questioning me about what I did with money? |

| Please, do not "piggy back" on someone else's thread. If you have an opinion to share with the original writer, that's fine - - write to your heart's content. But, if you have a question, even if it's similar to someone else's question, start your own thread. Thank you. IAAL |
