My response:

We can't give a legal education from a Bulletin Board. And besides, even if we could get THAT detailed, you'd never understand the process. Conservatorship is extremely detailed, both from a legal standpoint, and from a health expert standpoint.

You're really going to need an attorney for this. It's not like going to Small Claims court - - that's for sure !

Question

Falsely accused of writing a bad check

I am being falsely accused of writing a bad check and/or agreeing to letting someone else write the check with my knowledge that I have not written, signed, allowed someone else to write or even had knowledge of until one week ago when I discovered there was a warrant for me regarding said check. I have sent 16 pages of verification of my signature and copies of checks I have written yet they still have a warrant for me. It is actually a scam by my fiance's family to run me off for he is illiterate/mentally challenged and they know I have discovered they have used his incompetence to rob him of 4 sets of inheritances. I have explained the real circumstances to the DA's office, but what else can I do to get this cleared off me and can I file charges against the party(ies) who have falsely accused me and somehow was able to get one of my checks unbeknown to me. This incident took place in 12/99 when I was very sick with the flu and was suffering from sleep apnea (unbeknown to me until diagnosed in Feb. 01) and can I file charges with the DA's office for not informing me of this situation and I only found out when I called regarding another person?

My response:

I'm sorry, I don't recall asking for your long, involved, story . . . which had nothing to do with your question, "What form and procedures are involved in seeking conservatorship . . .?"

I mean, did I ask ?

I already said to see an attorney.

can several Ms. counties be run concurrent on felony/forgery charges in same District

Can a person with 3 sets of charges in three mississippi counties within the 17 District be run concurrent if the defendant is represented by a public defender on felony/fraud charges when said defendant is illiterate/mentally challenged. This person also has a HOLD from Ky for possible bad check writing charges in which he states he went to ky to help his ex move and was arrested for bad checks that she obviously wrote on a checking account she opened in her childs name and he paid Ky 850.00 for these checks and went home. Can this defendant in Ms. possibly get this issue in Ky resolved while in Ms. due to his illiteracy/mental problems when the court shows he's never been evaluated/treated during his obvious life long illiteracy/mental problems until 8/17/01 and this occurred back around 1995?
