court dateWhat is the name of your state? Iowa I am in need of an answer please. It has been a month and a half since I filed my response at the court house. My lawyer says that a trial date is usually set within 20 days after that, but still no word on a court date. What is usually the time frame that they decide a court date? |

| That's a little like asking "How pregnant are you?" You're either pregnant or not. March down to the court clerk's office and ask to see the file on your case (if you have the original summons you'll have a case number from which to look up the file). Then you can see if it has been set for trial or if it is on the schedule. |
