My ex wife and I divorced in SC in 97. She was court ordered to pay some bills that have now shown up on my credit report. On top of all this their was personal property that I was also awarded in the decree that I did not recieve. What can I do about this.

My response:

Assuming she hasn't filed Bankruptcy, you can take her back to Family Law court on an "Order to Show Cause Re: Contempt of Court".

Why has it taken you four years to even inquire about your rights, let alone to begin the process of exercising your rights ?

thanks for the advice. It has actually taken me to remarry and for my present wife to ask the right questions to make sure that I can answer them.

there is more to this story also. the ex has also denied me visitation with my three daughters. Also has moved out of the state without notifying me or the courts.

We are in the process of finding an attorney and getting this back into court.

Thanks bunches
