I live in Texas, and was wondering if there is a way to get married and keep our finances and credit ratings seperate. I have terrible credit due to a previous divorce and health problems, but my fiance has great credit. We have talked about a pre-nup, but don't think this will suffice. I know my credit would marr his otherwise perfect credit, and this is the only thing that gives me pause in getting married. Please help!

You cannot mar his credit unless he purchases something for you on credit and you do not pay. Keep everything separate.... and don't purchase on credit with him.
