Deed to home

Can you please tell me if i need an attorney?My husband is getting the house re-financed and is not having my name on it.Is this legal?I thought that as a married couple you both had to sign the deed.He has already taken my name off the checking account.If he should die I will have no place to live with my children.I am scared!Thank you
