Didn't Know Where To Put This So Here It Goes.

Hi my name is Jeff I'm 18 and I'm from the state of Ohio

See heres my prob.

I'm dating this girl she will be 17 in Nov. well heres my prob

She isn't getting along very well with her mom there always at each others throughts and shes wanting to move out. Her dad isn't around so she can't turn to him, and her other family well there just as bad as her mom.

Well she is wanting to come live with me and my family (I live with my mom and dad) well she doesnt want to ask her mom she just wants to tell her and leave, I don't want her to do it that way I would like her to talk it over with her mom.

But my question is what age in the state of ohio do you have to be to leave your house hold? If she left to come live with me and my family could her mom stop her in anyway? I mean what is the law about this?

thanks

Jeff

The law is that until she is 18 she cannot move out without her parent's approval.

Well 2 her mom is never home so really she is better off moving in with someone, and Im glad im that someone .

But shes moving in Oct. 1 so things are good now. thanks

Jeff
