What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

The child in question is 7. Parents are divorced and there is an order for joint custody. Said child's father on birth certificate may not be actual father. He does not want to know if he is the father biologically or not, he is fine with said child being his son. Can ex-wife and attorneys make him do a dna test? (Divorce has been final or so two years.)

It would be very unlikely at this point, unless the other potential biological father of the child was trying to assert paternity.
