What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NJ

My friend and her daughter(19 yrs.old) have been living with her partner for over 16 years.

Her partner is a business owner who has taken care if them for this time period.

Last year they became engaged but no wedding date was set.

Recently he has become extermely verbally abusive and wants her
to move out.

He realizes she can't support herself and daughter.

The question is, does she have any way to get financial support?

Financial support from her friend? I take it these 2 have no minor children.

No, she has no right to any financial support from him.
