What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Louisiana. I am posting this on behalf of my brother. He does not have an email address.
My brother owns on home, he allowed his girlfriend of nine months, to move in with him when she told him she was pregnant. They now have a nine month old child. They began having domestic problems after the baby was born.
She called the police and had him arrested for battery, he denies touching her. At court, his girlfriend told the DA that she and the baby had no where to live, which is not true, anyway, the court placed my brother on a RO and ordered him to stay away from his home.
They are to return to court in two weeks. How long can the court keep him out of his home? He is the only person on his mortgage, and he is responsible for all the bills. She has refused to move out of the house. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Louisiana
