domtic orders uncalled for

What is the name of your state? North Carlina
My Husband took a 50B out on me in 1999, but he dropped the charges
and the Judge dropped the case, will this show on my crimal record?
I just graduated from basic law enforcement and now I am worried that this will keep me from being hired, I did'nt do anything to deserve the order but still he was able to get one,and now this shows to police and sheriff's department that I may have a violent pass(which I don't) what can I do to prove that I did'nt do anything or is there anything I can do?
