| What you are asking for is legal services, not advice. And since there is apparently NOTHING to confirm his legal paternity, your need for 'some legally binding form' to force him to provide insurance is fairly complex. I would suggest you talk with a local attorney.

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |

| The thing is there is no force involved - we are in agreement - we just need to make it legal - and need the paper work to complete to do so |

| My guess is that he would have to fill out an acknowledgement of paternity. You may also want to contact the county in which the child was born and ask them how to change the birth certificate to add the father. My guess, again, is dad will have to sign something for this.

| Damn, I had a really good response with all kinds of good information last night, when my computer locked up!!! So, the short version is: Texas does allow an 'Acknowledgment of Paternity' and it is a fairly simple process. It is done by filing a VS-159.1 and VS-166 forms.
