Emailing relative a "write off" letter

What is the name of your state? Mich.

After years of verbal & emotional abuse from a step-uncle, I just assumed that he was just "an old man set in his old world ways". Turns out, he actually gets his jollies from it. During my grandfather's funeral a few weeks ago, he purposely omitted any mention of my family (from his 20 yr marriage to his first wife; 4 kids) but briefly mentioned my grandmother by stating "After the passing of his first wife (didn't even say her name), Peter met the love of his life, my mom {insert full name}.

My family was raging but we refrained from tearing him limb from limb in respect to Grandpa. I decided to write an email addressing all the actions he inflicted of us over the years and how I felt about him. Now I want to send it to him and CC: it to all the aunts and uncles (BTW: I want to CC: it because the gossip chain can distort any msg and I want them all to hear the mean, bad, & Ugly directly from me. I didn't swear or use offensive words but I wonder if he could sue me, i.e. slander.

Thanks all

Instead of emailing the note, print it out, burn it, and don't have anything else to do with this step-uncle. The only thing 'tying' you to his family was your grandfather.
