In an effort to equip all students with the tools they need to be successful following their high school career, career/technical education provides all Birmingham City School System students with access to a lifelong electronic portfolio. This portfolio allows students to take an interest inventory, a skills inventory and a work values assessment. The results of these assesssments provide valuable guidance to selecting the correct career pathway. In addition to the assessments, the Kuder Navigator provides students with access to more than 5,000 post-secondary institutions, access to more than 10,000 scholarship opportunities and an e-portfolio. The e-portfolio provides our students with a 21st century employment tool linking potential employers directly to their virtual resume. For more information regarding the Kuder Navigator contact your school's guidance counselor or the site administrator at 231.5625.
