Ending Child Support

My daughter in Virginia will be turning 18 in April and graduating High School in June. The attorney general in Texas sent a letter to the ex-wife (in Virg.) stating child support would be ending upon my daughters graduating. My ex wants child support to continue while my daughter stays at home and goes to college. Texas law only requires child support to be paid to 18 or completion of high school and I believe Virg. is 19. My marriage and divorce and child support all was in Texas. Can she make me pay child support while my daughter is going to college?
