Exchanging income information and living in a community property stateWhat is the name of your state? AZ I am divorced and remarried. My divorce degree states that I must exchange W-2 and income tax records every two years since we have three children together. I know my current wife's income should not play in the amount of child support I pay to my ex-wife, and that this information is none of her business. But since we live in a community property state, even if I file my income tax "Married Filing Separately", I must include half of my wife's income on my income tax. Is there any way to keep my wife's information confidential? (My ex-wife tends to use any information she can get to start problems) |

| You can block out any information pertaining to your wife's income, and submit your W-2's as proof of your income.
