Father's Rights

Hello. I live in Los Angeles, California and I have a 5 year old son. His mother and I have Joint-Legal Custody and she has Primary Physical Custody. I have 33% time share and his mother has 67%. What rights do I have in deciding where my son goes to school? His mother is all ready saying that she is going to put him in a school closest to her home (not a very good school district at all). Do I have any rights in this important decision based on the information above? Thank you.

You have a right in all decisions concerning your child. Joint custody is also called "Shared Custody" . And that means you both make decisions, not just one of you. Get a lawyer.
