but if I talk to the probation officer, is it possible to arrange it where we can go on a honeymoon out of the country? I'd do anything to have my honeymoon in italy but I don't know if he can go.

You can always ask but be prepared for that to be a big hard NO. Your fiance committed a crime and it must have been rather serious to receive 10 years probation hence for 10 years he is stuck where he is. If you want to honeymoon in Italy you are not going to go with him.
