filing for divorce

What is the name of your state? TX

My best friend is seperated from her husband. How long does she have to wait before filing for divorce?

there is no waiting(seperation) period in Texas to file, she can file the day she moves out... you have a 60 day waiting period after she files for it to be final if no one contests it...
